Jaxen, what will happen if the old A# is used?

Hi, jaxen,
I found my wife\'s A# in her old EAD cards, also found the A#s are same in two old EAD cards, so I used it for filing the I-485. However, I mailed the package out this morning. What will happen if the old A# is used? Thanks.

Possible:

you might get the same A# reassigned or a new A# will be allotted to you. Wait for the I485 receipts before calling INS. If you find a new A# then you are fine, otherwise you have to find out whether that A# is currently being used by somebody else.
