Jaxen pls help - job change after local transfer

I wud like to know whether it is possible to change jobs after getting a local transfer.
1.If yes then wud my case(i-485) be transferred to that particular local office?
2.How long wud it take to transfer?
3.Do i need an attorney for the address change?
4.do u ppl know of anybody who did this and successfully got their GC?
5.how does portablility work in such a case?

ur suggestions r most welcome.

Please post what is your situation and what you want to do
becase it is not easy to post that when INS will transfer your case to Local INS or not
nobody can say how much time it will take to get transfred to local INS
Why do you expect the your I-485 case will be transfred to Local INS? what is the reason ?

you should post your real situation then you may get answer from others.

my RD is aug 2001 so am ahead of the 180 day mark.I was transferred on feb 3rd and the reason i think is my marriage after i-485 filing.
so i was wondering if i cud change jobs now or wait till i receive my GC after the interview,and if i did change jobs my local office wud be changed too because it is another state i wud get my job.
so i mite require an attorney to deal with my case.
