Since I saw so many RFE's for a simple AP application so I don't really know what documents required for AP. for me and for my wife. This is gonna be our 2nd AP. Could you please list me the requirements and the other documents that I should enlose with the application. Thanks .

Following is a RFE that someone got on this forum so I am sure that many renewars are also concerned.

So I got my RFE for AP renewal and sample this my friends

INS wants a proof of my 140 approval as evidence, can u beileve it that they are asking for 140 approval as evidence when I am applying for a AP renewal, beats me completely. Can't someone just introspect at INS that I have filed the 485 after my 140 approval!

For my spouse they want a marriage certificate as evidence!!

So all u folks applying for a AP renewal, please file your marriage certificate and 140 approval too to avoid an RFE and throw in a birth certificate as a bonus and maybe your photograph as a freebee!!!!!!!!! and your wedding invitation as the cover letter!

I am lost, but hey let's look at the bright side as Silly Man says! and in my case the bright side is that my file has come off the dusty old cabinet and now sitting in a new shelf hopefully next to the california sun! and shaking away its deep slumber ..awwwwww

Not required for renewal. For a few RFEs , there are 100s of AP approvals (there is nothing like AP renewal). If you want you can send marriage certificate copies or I140 approval. But I think the RFE was due to a receipt or A# or I94 error.
Always take news in such forums with a pinch or salt or turmeric...
