Jaxen-IS it possible to add documents to initial i-485?

I have not recieved a RFE but my case has been transferred to local INS.

I could not submit some documents at the time of filing of i-485 a year ago since i did not have those documents then.

I have those documents now-Can i mail those documents to INS now mentioning my A# in support of my i-485 application?

yes U can.

Send copies always. Dont be surprised if INS generates RFE later. Quote A#, receipt number and Name on all documents (like a foot note)

delhiseemaa, the idea of sending documents was to remove last minute tension

I think providing the documents upfront and now will give INS time to process the documents and issue rfe if required.Otherwise when they call me for interview they may still find one or the other doc missing and reschedule me with a fresh interview date again
