Thank you guys for the quickly replay. I hope you are wrong your thoughts. NSC will process my case tomorrow. Always tomorrow... when it will be end!!!..???? :confused: :confused: :confused:

OctFiler is getting a RFE for his wife. If Muthy would be right, he will have to be waiting 1-2 years to get his wife 485. I do not think that's happening. The RFE is sent now, and he will have his wife 485 done in a month max.

It does not make any logic to have 140s waiting for 485 dates. It increases (not decreases) the backlog, while USCIS is trying (at least to show) backlog reduction

Hi Sadashivepethi,
I had the same scenario. My FP date was also on 11th Jun, 2004.
And the office was closed because of Reagan's death.

I just took the letter and went to the office the following Monday on 14th Jun, 2004 and they did my finger printing.

In my letter, it said you can any following wednesday at the same time.
But I went on Monday itself and got the finger printing done.

So I would recommend, dont wait for another letter from BCIS.
Just take the letter that you have and go to the office at your earliest convenience.
Try going first thing in the morning as there will be less people and the possibility of getting it done is faster. (I went at around 8am)

If we consider that NSC is processing cases from Dec/03 (I-140). Then, we wll probably be seing some cases from Jan and Feb/04 on next month. Don't you think? NSC bulletin stated they are working on Dec/03 cases (I cannot take any more mistakes from NSC ).So, next month will Jan/04 for sure. Hopefuly, my case come next. :D :confused: :) :eek: :cool: :confused: :confused:
