TensedAlways, Only attorney has to do ?

Can the applicant send the fax after 120 days ?

My attorney is not cooperative and I would like to know if it is any different if I do it.

AVM not changed yet?

I have done my FP on April 19th in MICHIGAN(Residing in MI,Applied through CSC) , still AVM says "We have recieved your I485 on....) Any body knows how long does it take to update the AVM?.
 
No FP notices yet. Called IIO

Nice lady. Asked the status of FP notices. I was told my FP has been ordered, but she cannot see when it was sent out, or when it will be sent out.

What does it mean? how long do I need to wait to receive the notice?

Please help.

AOS,AP,EAD - WAC-02-089-5xxxx
I received all receipts for AOS,AP,EAD etc.
I received AP on March 5th.
I received FP on April 30th.
FP DONE - on May 1 st.
Called (304)625-5590 option 4 to check FP Status.
Talked to a lady at FBI and she told
FP were returned on the same day to INS.
SO when can I expect the approval ?????
Any ideas???
And I still did not get my EAD card.
Nobody from this discussion does reply.
Anybody with the same lines, please respond.

No one can say when ur gc will be approved.
As far as EAD is concerned even we have not got it as yet,Im ahead of u.still i have not even got my fp notice.

We r all in the same boat. Don\'t worry!!Looks like INS is scrutinizing our past history for EAD approval.. So we just have to wait. If u r in urgent need of EAD, u can always get an iEAD from local INS.
 
i also called the iio for the fp notice

and she said ur case is still procesing .But nevertheless i told her that it is more than 120 days and i have not recd my fp so what shud we do about it.
and she said she will forward my case to the department.let see if this works out and we get our fp notices.
 
EAD Approved as per AVM

As per AVM, EAD is approved on May 13th.
Card ordered and it will take 120... blah.
ND 1/16/02 WAC-02-088-5xxxxx

Any idea when I will get the card?

Thanks for the info. I would like to get the EAD card from INS by mail. I do not want to get iEAD. I talked to my lawyer and he says it will take 2-3 months for the approval to come. Hope this info helps.

Within a week your message will change to \'This case has been approved and your approval notices mailed on...\' Within a week of this notice (usually a couple of days) you will get the cards and your attorney the paper notices. Hope this clears your doubt.
 
EAD help

my wac-02-087-xxxxx, i did not receive EAD yet, i did not submit signature card along with EAD application. do you think it is delaying because of that? will i get RFE because of it?
 
madha : a suggestion

madha if u think that u r going to get rfe for not submitting the signature card then go get an interim ead card because i have read somewhere that if u get an rfe for ead then u can get interim ead after 90 days from the rfe and not from the ead application.
but hopefully u dont get rfe for signature card as someone has already mentioned that nowadays u dont require sig cards.

thanks for the suggestion, but i some time left on my H1(till Aug) so i am still weighing my options. do you see disadvantages with
iEAD vs EAD? as in can you extend iEAD after 1year like regular EAD?

I heard that if you fill your application with black pen than you don\'t need sig-cards. i remember filling it with blue pen. am not sure. these things are really confusing
 
Got EAD card today. but have question....

Today, My wife and I got EAD cards, but the cards say "finger print not valid". Is it problem?

Current my status: WAC-02-084-******
I got Finger print on March.05, and AVM says " On March21, processing resume".

FP: 03/05 ( On March.21 , processing resume)
AP: 03/10 approval
EAD:05/08 approval
 
there is no difference between ead and iead

the only difference is that the iead is usually valid for 240 days and the EAD is valid for 12 months.Looking at the cards no one can distiguish between the two of them either.so i dont see why you want to wait for the INS to give u the actual ead.go to the local ins and get the IEAD and sleep in peace.
 
AVM says processing resumed...

Early FP done on May 8th.AVM says FP results received and processing resumed on MAY11th. I think Jan mailers should expect approvals sometime in August if they process in the same rate as they are doing now. Any thoughts on this??
 
EAD Approved on May 15th

Just heard about this approval on AVM for myself and wife.

BTW, I got iEAD from San jose.
