i140 script

i tried to run the script, but after it is all done, it shows blank. i hope i am doing it the right way. can anyone check the status for the series eac0309551xxx??? i dont think my computer is allowing to run it properly. thanks in advance.

Muppaneni, Is it RFE due to 2ndEAD?

Looking at your dates for EAD, I wonder why you had to apply for 2nd EAD so early. Was it given for shorter duration?

With RFE for I140 you are on your way for the approval within two weeks after USCIS receives the response.

Looking at the way of USICS ways of working, I thought it is better to apply for 2nd EAD at least 6 months ahead of time.

I do not know if this has triggered RFE. Mine is a substitute LC and the company name is different on LC than the company I am working for currently. I believe my company received RFE for such cases asking for clarification of the company's name. Hope this would help.

My case is very similar to yours. Mine is also LCSub but I didn't file it concurrently because my lawyer didn't suggest so.
I see your ND is very close to mine, so if you have RFE then they might be working my case as well.

Let me know what do you think ?

i140 script

i ran the script and got some results. what i cant understand is that my eac number didnt appear at all. why would that be?? when i check my status online it shows that i140 was received on feb 5th 2003, but this status didnt show up in the result, whereas there were a lot which showed the result/status group to be Received and the date for them was 02/5/2003(same as mine).
does anyone have any idea why mine was skipped??? any advice i really welcome. thanks in advance.

Your petition is for EB3 or EB2. Mine is EB3. Please post the details.

My 140 is approved on Nov 7th. It took almost 10 months to get approval on 140.

Wow good news

Congrats ..

Very nice to here that i140 ND doesn't depend on i145 ND.
I was little worried about the logic that i140 ND will be the i145 ND if you file separately. But after you approval .. it seems that logic is wrong.
Mine is also similar to urs
i140 ND - 02/27
i145 ND - 07/25

EAD approval - 08/21
AP approval - 08/23
 
Do WE get the EAD and AP document once approved by UCIS directly to our address ? OR does it go to the Employer / Attorney’s address ? .

Can someone clarify this for me ,

i think it goes to your attorney. atleast in our case it was like that, and the attorney send us the papers later.

Rotny, EAD comes directly to you. AP went to the attorney who then mailed it to me. Thats what happend in my case.
 
Incorrect online status

I have a question about the online status of 485/140 applications. I would appreciate it if anyone could post more info on this.

I have filed my 485/140 concurrently in Jan 2003 and received the approval for 140 in March. But my online status still says it will take xxx-yyy days to process this type of case. I called the service center and they said that I should not be concerned if I have already recived the approval.

Also, I have given finger prints for 485 back in April, and my online status still says that a notification has been sent for finger prints etc., It does not say that thay have received my finger prints.

Has anyone faced this type of situation? Should I be concerned?

The online status is nothing but junk. My EAD was approved in March. The status still shows pending. My Visa renewal was approved in October. Status still shows pending.

The problem with this is, I'll never know if and when my I140 gets approved, since my company and lawyer would be too scared to tell me, in case I use the portability law to jump ship.

So I guess I just have to wait till I get the not-so-green card in the mail in a hundred years from now.

So take that status with a pinch of salt and try to follow up yourself if possible on your pending cases.
 
That is scary!!

Being in computer field I wonder how would they design a system which will never reflect correct status.

It should in some way link to the actual records in the server - which gets updated at least after some delay (may be in days).

But if something remains at this status for months without being corrected.

I agree with herenow - employers/lawyers will never inform us about I-140 approval.

Is there any other way to find that out?

Are automated phone systems always correct?

herenow - what does the phone system say for your EAD?

Can you check it please and update here?

online status

I checked the status using phone system also and there is no difference. I think phone system is not different from online system. I called service center and it seemed as if they were also using the online system to let me know about my status.
