Yes. My lawyer has recd the copy of the RFE last week itself. My RFE was issued on May 10 and updated on May11.

They have asked for the following:

1. Copy of Last 3 Pay Stubs
2. Copy of Last 3 W-2
3. Copy of 3 years Tax Returns
4. EVL
5. If you are not working for GC sponsoring Employer. Explain Why.
 
2nd FP sent to old address and appointment date already passed

INS sent me the 2nd FP notice to my old address and got rejected by PostOffice and then resent to my current addrss. The problem is appointment date has already passed and the service center is not in my current city. Anybody has the same situation before? Can I do it in my new city? I sent them AR 11 more than 1 year ago and they seem ignore it. Also my on-line status never changed still as 2 years ago.

RFE (last 2 years W-2,1040, 3 pay stubs and Birth certificate) replied and received on 5/18/2004. The email message says it takes 730 days to process this kind fo case! I hope not :mad: Wait is on.... :confused:

I have a question about your RFE. I got my RFE last week and INS is asking for W2, Tax returns, Medical records and Birth certificate.
I sent affidavits when I applied for I-485 long time ago. I was wondering whether you also received the same RFE for birth certificate or different?
Also, did u send the certificate again?

I have submitted brith certi and one affidavit since I dont have name in my certi! This time I have submitted 2 affidavit with full name and also the birth certi. I also have sent school/college leaving certi and certi issued by indian counsulate. I hope that will satisfy the requirement. I believe 2 affidavits should be enough. Let me know your status as well. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I will let you know the status of my RFE. I did not submit Non-avail. certificate with I-485 application. I sent only affidavits.
I may have go back to municipal "Crap" office to get the Non-Avail. certificate.
 
Biggest joy of my life!!

Hi Guys/Gals,

I just couldn't believe it!! I was not in a good mood today and didn't bother to check the status the usual # of times that I do ;) After I came home, just now, I uninterestedly checked the status on the website AND couldn't believe my eyes!! I was all teary-eyed!!! MY 485 HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!!! The last touch date is today and it was approved yesterday (5/19)!! My response to the RFE was received on 5/11. The phone message confirms the same.

YAHOOOOOOOO!!! I am very thankful for Mr. Rajiv's portal site and all other members who regularly share their information!! I wish to God that you all get your GCs approved soon too....Don't lose faith.

Did you mean the guy who takes the call at (800) 375-5283 is not an IIO.
Any way I called today after 30 days, told him that I didnt receive
any docs. He took my 485 receipt number and sent a message (to the hell).
According to him, he can not transfer my call, I need to wait
30 more days to get response.

These morons are psychological terrorists for legal immigrants.

I was in a similar situation. They sent me an RFP which I did not receive in 14days. the customer service people asked me to call after 30 days. Instead I asked them to transfer me to an immigrartion officer. THe officer name taht I got in touch was officer Rayford. He filled out a request form putting me on hold. Also he asked me to fax a letter to the I-485 unit (SSN, D.O.B, home address etc and also asked me to fax a copy of the 485 receipt. I did all this on MOnday afternoon. My Thursday my status has been updated as they mailed it again..

So please talk to an immigration officer. It works. I dont have an attorney. I filed I-485 on my own as a derivate.
 
Got 2FP and RFE

WAC-02-087 (Jan 15th, 2004)

Lawyer did inquiry on May 17th and got 2nd FP notice by mail today (May 21st).
Lawyer called IO on May 18th and was told RFE was requested. Online Status changed to message indicating RFE was requested.

Did not receive the RFE yet.


2nd FP scheduled for June 26th in SJ. Planning to go early.


Will let you folks know progress...
