I have filed for my mother this June. GL to all.


06/07/10...Mailed I-130, I-485, I-864 and I-131 package to the Chicago Lockbox........Day 1- Express Mail USPS at 2.31 Houston, TX
06/08/10..... Tracked and Confirmed Delivery to Chicago Lockbox at 9.35 AM... Day2
06/14/10...Email from USCIS with 3x receipt numbers msc........Day 8
xx/xx/xxxx...Checks Cleared........Day
06/16/10.... Notice of Action Received....Day 10
06/21/10 Biometrics Notification .....Day 15
07/07/10 Biometrics Date....Day 31 but walked in on 07/01/10 and did it( 25th day)
07/06/10 RFE.. for BC of mine and Last Income Tax Return (30 th day)
21/09/10 Interview Letter
02/11/10 Interview Date
XX/XX/XX Green Card Received

Hey i have a quick question you guys --- I received 4 emails from USCIS today, but 2 emails are copy of each other. I mean they just released 2 different MSC numbers. Am I missing something or should i have recieved 3 different MSC #?

Actually, i figured it out. Sorry to bother. I filed only I-485 and I-765. I already have an approved I-130 (that's why). Good Luck you guys. I hope we all receive our GC soon.
 
When they will cash the checks? I hv already received e-mail confirmation and MSC no. in mail.
 
oh you already received notice of actions in mail and check was not cashed? Hmmm..that's strange. I am sure they'll get to it.

They gave a Axxxxxxxxxxxx no. in a NOA reciept of my mothers I-485( which was concurrently sub-mitted with my I-130 form)? Is that the Alien no.? Is it normal to give that no. in NOA or it is a mistake?
 
Hi Sohana
The I-797 (aka NOA) ia a very important document because it contains the alien number needed for any communication with uscis
So yes that A9digits on her NOA is your mothers A#.

How and when they will notify about check cashing?

I am worried- i did not get any message regarding check cashing though I hv received NOA on 10 th day by mail- is there anything wrong in my AOS application for my mom?
 
Sohana: try this. Go to USCIS website and open an account with your Case #. Then see, what is the last updated date on your account. You should receive biometrics by next week...the way i see the timelines in this forum.

Usually we don't want people to take out money from our acct. But in this case, we pray for USCIS to cash the check :)

It is showing " Initial Review" in all forms- I-130, I-131 and I-485- but how will I be notified if they had cashed the checks?
 
I'm not sure if I sent all the correct info on the I-131. If they request evidence, is this going to delay my overall
application?
