I've called service center today and they've advice that they have requested my local DO on September 26, 2008 to schedule me for interview.


Does this mean that my name check is done?

You call the same number (national help ) and they will ask you for your application number and based on that they transfer you to your service center.

Actually they don't transfer you to your service center, but to an IO at a call center that is located in Georgia or California.
