Hello immigration.com community,

I need you guys to point me in the right direction because all the ignorance of immigration officers is driving me nuts

On September 4th, 2012 I have completed the Naturalization Interview, passed the test but still got a "A decision can not yet be made" thingy checked on my receipt.

Since then (over 120 days now), I have not heard back from USCIS. When I call or visit them in person they keep telling me that my case is still pending and may be pending for another 20 years (that was very rude to say smth like this) and there is nothing can be done but wait.

Should I go ahead and request a hearing before the U.S. district court?

Any suggestions/recommendations are appreciated.

Cheers,
Alex.

Is there a reason, which, you clearly know or suspect, make the IO give you a "A decision can not yet be made" decision?

109 days since 9'17/2012 N 400 interview..Still waiting as well

I was told that my application was mistakenly classified as NTA. That was back in 12/26/2012..On 01/02/2013 received a letter instructing me to keep waiting. It said this:"..You will be notified by mail when further action has been taken on your case.."

Hi Guss,

I am sailing in the same boat. Passed interview on Aug 22nd 2012 ( Decision cannot be made). Have visited Immigration office few times. Last week visit resulted in a letter stating " YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY MAIL WHEN FURTHER ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN ON YOUR CASE"

Does not make any sense. Did you get any correspondence after you received that letter. Its 256th Day since Interview.

Any suggestions. Should I approach the court.
