complaint against H1B employer

Hello,
my company filed for my H1B transfer and informed me that my H1b is transfered and i can start working on client project. so i started working.

when i received my I797 i noticed that my H1b start date/validity date was more than a month after i actually started working for this company.

i am leaving this company due to many such issues and want to complain about my employer. can someone suggest who i should contact about this date issue.

say company AA transfered my H1b and asked for a start date of 15th oct 2006 but placed me on their project on 1st sept 2006. they told me that the H1b has been transfered but actually the new H1b is valid from 15th oct 2006 as requested by employer and as see on the I797 document.

i want to know if this is legal and if not then which agency will look into this. the company has clearly done this as they didn't want to miss on the client work.
my problem is that my I797 shows that i joined compnay AA from 15th oct 2006 but i actually started working for their client from 1st sept 2006. all my experience letters and resume are now conflicting with the date on I797.

can you give me the specific agencies that deal with I797.

-----when did they file H1 Transfer? when did you got H1 transfer filing reciept?

-------------------one can join new employer the day H1 petition reach USCIS or the day you get Transfer filing reciept from USCIS. do you have any Written evidence to prove to USCIS that AA placed you with client on project on 1st sept 2006???

the h1b was received by USCIS sometime after first week of sept 2006. i am not sure when they got the receipt. they told me "that my h1b has been transferred" and i can start working at the client. so i did. but when i got the I797 from them, the received date was much later and more shocking is that the start date/ validity date was more than a month later.

---------------------what is ther Receipt date on H1 approval? it is the date H1 transfer filing reached USCIS. if the Start date/validity date is 15th oct 2006 on H1 approval notice then your work from 1st Sep2006 to 14 october is Unauthorized. The company or Lawyer did the mistake, Company should have asked to join once H1 transfer reached USCIS or the day they got H1 filing reciept from USCIS. when did they company pay you your first pay stub? from what date?
what do i do now????

the h1 receipt date is - 12th sept 2006
the company paid me first time in november when the client paid them for my work in the september month.

-----------------it means they sent H1 Transfer filing on 10 or 11 Sep,your work from 1st Sep 2006 to 10-11 sept may be Unauthorized

I don’t think you have problem, but if you feel you can go to Canada or Mexico And when reenter get new I-94 and your reentry and new I-94 will erase any out of status. Your employer paid you in November and that is ok .
