I am from Asia Region. My CN is 2009AS4XXX.

In DS-230 Part I,
SL No. 10 - "Permanent address in United States you intend to live. Include the name of a person who currently lives there."
I wrote down the person's First and Last Name only, but I did not write his Middle Name or Middle Initial.

SL No. 11 - "Address in the United States where you want your Green Card mailed. Include the name of a person who currently lives there."
I wrote down, as same as SL # 10.

1) Is it a serious mistake?
2) Do I need to inform them regarding Middle Name at the interview?
3) Should I type a new form (DS-230 Part I) and include his Middle Name also & keep the other answers same as before and ask them to change it at the interview?
Please reply.

Hi Tazmania,
Thank u for the reply. In DS-230 Part I, SL # 10, 11 - they ask for the person name who lives in usa. They have not mention even full name of the person. Yes, I am agree with you, when any body ask name, we used to mention First and Last Name. But still have a confusion as because the name of the person I used, has a Middle Name in his GC. For that reason I want to make sure one more time. Please reply both of my questions below specifically.
1) So, I don't need to take any step regarding Middle Name missing?
2) Even, I don't need to inform them at interview?
Thank you again and congratulation for your GC.

Hi Tazmania,
Thank you once again for reply. I really want to close this issue. I heard that at the time of interview Embassy use to call the person whose name and telephone number I have provided. Also later I checked with him he has a middle name in his GC. I am really agreed with you. But please answer my last question. Sorry for inconvenience.
Do I need to inform Embassy at interview regarding this middle name missing issue or not?

That information is for the postal service to be printed on the envelope. Unless there are several people under that address with the same first name and last name, which differ only by the middle name, and because of that your GC might get into wrong hands, you do not realy need to do anything.
