LUD for my 140 & 485 (both mine & wife) change to 11/29.
I got all excited but there is no change in status.
There is no f&(@ email too.
Same is the case with two of my friends.
Guys/Gurus is this a mass lud update???
BTW my RD for 140/485 is 02-MAR-2004

Must be a Good News. Wait till tomorrow. The good news email and the update usually happens around 12.00 AM EST / 9.00 PM PST. Check around 10.00 PM PST,for any news.
 
LUD changed to 11/29

My all pending cases LUD including I-485 for myself,my husband and my two sons, and my I-140 have been updated to today's date 11/29. Would it be a good sign? In fact, I expect something should be happened soon based on the processing date. I,m little excited. :)

Not a mass update. Mine hasn't moved. However, my RD is on 03/25.. so maybe it will in a couple of weeks/months/years.. who knows :) Anyway, congrats in advance!!

Looking at the updates on this forum, it seems lud change is pretty common stuff. We do not have to make any assumption on that. It is pretty vague,random and unpredictable.
Though I am keeping my finger crossed, I really don't think it has got any meaning attached to it. Otherwise, the status should have been updated and I should have received email. Both has not occured.
As bada bhai has suggested I will just wait and see.

Yeah doesn't mean much. I have had a few LUD updates recently but nothing to write home about.

I too had only one update on 11/10 for I-140 and I-485. Since then no news... BTW, mine also is substitute case.
But I am quite optimistic about lgkang's case. I think this time LUD had changed for good.....

Something happens to the case for sure. Ya, My LUD changes also brought no result but there is always hope. there might be the infamous name clearance pending or some silly reason, thats why we dont see results. Few more hrs and we would get the facts. Remember gc_now and lgkang we all are eagarly waiting to hear a good news at least from your sides. Keep us updated.
 
My LUD Finally changed today.

Total 9 cases were pending(not counting RFEs) from 140 RD 11/3/04, 6 LUD changed on Oct'04 and 3 changed on Nov'o4, I am the last one whose LUD changed(today). :mad:

140 RD 11/3/04: 67 cases, 28 approved, 30 RFEs, 9 pending.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaiting...............

don't get me wrong. I am an ever optimist - but this is the sequence of LUDs i have had with no result.
140 = 4/14 - 11/17 - 11/19 - 11/22
485 (mine) = 5/20 - 10/27 - 11/19 - 11/22
485 (wife) = 5/20 - 10/27

Still frigging stuck. I am looking forward to the first Ray of hope - LUD change is obviously a sign but don't get too excited over it. I hope it works out well for everyone.

Interesting similarity. In my case LUD updated only once as compared to thrice for your I-140 and twice for I-485 but for my wife's I-485, LUD it is still at 10/27.
 
My LUD has changed on Nov 29, 2004, but has no change on the online message, still showing FP2. I think my LUD change was from that I called the emergency number today to check the response to my inquiry.

The officer told me that the RFE was ordered on Nov 23.I have neither receive the RFE nor the message change.

Weird!!!
 
My and my wife's 485 and my 140 LUD changed to 11/29 but no change in the message.

My RD is 11/4/2004, on 11/19/2004 I received a notice for finger printing on 12/3/2004, I don't know if it is good or bad. Is it this quick?

finally approved after LUD changed 11/29

Hi,
I want to share all these happening with all of you guys. All my pending cases (four I-485 and one I-140) finally have been approved after LUD on 11/29. I got the email notification of approval on 11/29 too. What a nice after Thanks-Giving present !!!!! Thanks for all of you on this forum. I wish your approval soon.
 
LUD changed for me too...

My I-140 LUD has also changed today. I was a little excited about it but now seeing all these posts it looks like a mass update. Mine is a labor substitution case with RD of 06/23/03...has been a pretty long wait so far.

So, just curious, how many of you with today's LUD change have labor substitutions. Do we seen a pattern here.
