Is there any unemployment incentive for canadians?

Hi,
I am a canadian living in india for 15 years. I have heard that there is an unemployment incentive scheme for canadians who are jobless. can anyone please guide me as to whether i will be eligible for the same if i go to canada, what are the other points in that scheme, how much money assistance thet give nad whether the jobs considered are according to your qualifications?
plz guide me and provide a link for the same if possible.

There will be no (un)employment insurance paid to you, if that's what you mean by "unemployment scheme". For that to recieve, you have to be employed in Canada first.
 
Consider these facts:-
(1) You were born in Canada in 1983, but never lived there past infancy
(2) In July of this year you were on this forum trying to find out if you are indeed a Canadian citizen
(3) You then successfully obtained a Canadian passport while still in India
(4) Now you want to know if you will get EI if you make your way to Canada?

You are a young man of 24. Young enough to make it on your own when (and if) you move to Canada. Old enough to realise that you have not contributed a single cent to the Canadian welfare system, yet have no qualms in withdrawing from that bucket?

Nothing personal, but this just does not seem right to me.

I agree with your feelings Mr. Triple Citizen . MY intention is not to exploit any loopholes in the Canadian system. I just want to settle down in my country. But since i dont have any relatives there and i ned some time to find job there that is why i was asking about this scheme , so atleast can survive there for some time.
Plz dont take these things otherwise. i fully intend to work and contribute towards Canada

Ya thanks, but still do you have any idea whether i am eligible for any financial assistance or loan if i go to Canada so i can settle down initially, and find a job ?
