Is there an Interview for Parents GC

After going through many posts here, I could not see any case or mention of parents being called for GC interview.

Does this mean that there is no interview for GC for parents?

are we talking about AOS or consular processing?
for CP - yes, there will be an interview.
For AOS in most cases there won't be an interview.

I just got a letter for my father's interview. Its for his AOS I-485 application

I believe all family AOS require interview but employment based AOS no interview mostly

Of all the posts I have seen here for parents AOS, I have seen 2 or 3 cases only where parents were called for interview, where as some 100 cases where it was approved w/o interview(including mine). So I think it happens but less often than other categories. Not sure if it is random or due to FP not clear or name check problems or some other reason.

From my research so far: For AOS based cases, very few parents are called for an Interview for Green Card.

Well, my parents had been called for interview. But it got canceled a week from appointment. Don't know why. Still waiting for the interview letter. This is for AOS.
