WOM is different from 1447b - from what I've heard.
Is there any links or threads for a 101 basics Tutorial on 1447b?
My wife's case is still stuck.
She completed and passed here N-400 interview in the middle of June 2008.
Police clearance letters (in lieu of faint Fingerprints) mailed and received by USCIS third or fourth week of June 2008.
Its been about 2 months after she passed the interview. Two infopasses later, there has been some minor "status progress"...they say wait for 30-60 days...
Come end of October/early November - it will be past 120 days.
I just wanted to find out some background info on 1447b if at all it comes to it (120 days after the interview is over, or atleast 120 days after they received our police clearance letters from us).
Do we need a lawyer if we need to file 1447b?
I hope we dont need to go the 1447b route, but we'll just be prepared.
As much as possible, I'll see if they provide the oath letter without the need for all this. But, just in case.
