IS Name Check done after First Finger Printing ?

HI Friends,

I got my First FP on 09/09/04, but my Notice date for I-485 is 07/14/03. So does it mean that my name check is not done yet ? Is it necessary that Name Check is done after First Finger Printing ?

Did you receive your RFE on I-485? If yes, what is that?
I hope, when they will receive your satisfactory reply of RFE's. Both of your applications should be approved simultaneouly.
