Is my H1B still vaild

I am a H1B visa holder and applied GC through my spouse, currently waiting for the interview. My employment authorization card is going to expire at the end of next month. Do I have to renew my employment authorization card or I can just work by using my H1B? also, if INS deny my GC application, Am I still be able to work in the state legally?

I presume that you did not use your EAD (asked your employer to file I-9 ). THen you need not renew EAD. If you are in H1, rejection of your spouse\'s GC application will not affect you and your spouse can switch to H4 based on your H1.
However, that happening is very slim and EAD is more pwerful jobwise than H1.

I have applyed advance parole, but never use it. will it affect my H1B status?
and I have to go back to my home country next month, should I use H1B to come back or AP?

Have you got any update from PHILL INS. My case was also transferred in SEP 2001.
