My lawyer got the following Email notification from INS. This was a new H-1:
The Vermont Service Center has approved the following
I-129 Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker
that had been filed under the Premium Processing Service:
Receipt Number: EACXXXXXXXXXXX
Petitioner: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Beneficiary: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
DOB: XXXXXXXX
Classification: H1B
Starting Validity Date: 10/01/05
Ending Validity Date: 10/01/08
Consulate notified (if applicable):
I-94 # (if applicable): XXXXXXXXXXXX
The I-94 number is same as the I-94 number I have on my F-1 visa. Does this mean that I got my COS approved ?
