I have my DV interveiw in Montreal on April 2nd. I have my medicals tomorrow.

I have mild asthma, especially due to allergies or pollens in Spring time, etc. but not always although I have a history of mild asthma attackes and use ventolin inhaler on a need basis.

Question
--------
1. I am little weezy when I breathe, should I disclose this to the panel physician?
2. Will I be denied Immigrant Visa due to asthma, as I have no other medical problems.

Please advise ASAP, as I have my medicals scheduled on March 28, 2007.

you don't need to disclose anything. Asthma is not a contagious disease dangerous to the public, and will not be an obstacle.

Only contagious diseases (including STDs and Tb), as well as mental problems, will be a problem.

Thanks very much LucyMO, I am glad asthma will be OK.

I have prepared very hard for this. Have all my papers in order including educataional, births, police clearances and financial support and ready for my Interview in US consulate Montreal, Canada on 2nd April, 2007.

Will be leaving Vancouver on March 31, flying to Montreal and will also have a opportunity to holidaying in Montreal for the 1st time since I immigrated to Canada 10 years ago.

This forum has been very helpful in mine and others research and preparation and I really appreaciate the help.

Will keep you all posted.
