Is it too early to start Jan 03 Tracker??? Why not!!

Is it possible that RFE letter is lost?

The online status says there is a RFE issued on Nov 24. But until now it is not received. Is it possible it is lost? How do I find out? How should I fix this? Thank you.
 
RFE received. Help needed.

The RFE actually came in today at the attorney office. It is to verify the current position and salary with the company. What kind of document should be prepared for this? Please help.
 
No LUD change for FP2 yet

We finished our FP2 on 11/20/2004. Till now the LUD has not changed to reflect that our second FP were received by INS. Any idea how many days it takes to update the FP received notification?

BTW we did our FP at Atlanta center. I think AtlantaBhopali did his second FP on same date at same center. AtlantaBhopali did you see LUD change for your case??
 
Guys,

Can u think of any reason why INS would ask me to send approved copy of i-140 in RFE??
because logically they shud have it in their records/sytem already as they are the one who approved it. I can't seem to understand the logic behing asking this in RFE.

share ideas pls.

Hey Kjoshi,

We sure did go on the same day! No change in LUD/status yet, but the status has never changed for my case anyways. FBI told me they sent the FP results the same day (saturday - which was weird/impressive)..

Let us keep each other posted.

I rememeber such an RFE being issued for EAD but not for 485. Is it possible that your attorney did not attach the 140 or there have been material changes like company name/address or is yours and labor substitution?

Just thinking of all possibilities.

I call them at 304-625-5590 or 304-625-2406. You would need your A# when you call.

Rsur, I believe they are asking 140 now to see the priority dates on the aplication to check with the new rule of retrogressing based on PDs. I'm so appalled with the thought that i'll be drowning so close to the bank of the river.
mine has been a straight forward concurrent case; 140 & 485 were sent together; may be its posible thats why they want to see it. i hope this shud be the reason.

Looks like they will take a look at the 140 and approve you in the next few weeks. I am sure as crazy as this system is people who are in the last stage like you will not have to face the retrogess guillotine. Wish you all the best and may the USICS gods have mercy on us.

This process really sucks big time :(
 
OK, it has been 3 weeks now since both my wife and I did our FP2 (11/18), and have not heard anything. I read about a couple of RFE's for 1/03 applicants, anybody else received anything?
 
NSC EB2 Filer...Jan 03.....No Updates!

Its almost three weeks after second FP. (11/18/04).
No Updates, No RFEs, No Approval.


S***T happens, But not necessarily in chronological order, and thats true for NSC.

PD 07'01
I140 AD 07'02
I485 01'03
FP1 02'03
FP2 11'04
EAD1 02'03
EAD2 01'04

EAD3 / AP2 is in stack somewhere there.
 
Rsur your words did help me bigtime. i had sent my RFE papers to lawyer yesterday and she has rcvd it and asked her to do me a personal favor by sending them out today itself and she showed me some attention in that regard. I don't have much time my friend if this rule takes place by 2nd January 05 then i guess i'll be sitting among back seaters with PD placard in my hand waiting for approval........
I'll have 13 to 15 working days...

any idea if NSC is closed for xmas on what day??

I-485 Applied : Jan 28 2003
Had 2 EAD's Applied For the 3rd
Had 2 AP did not apply for the 3rd one
1st Finger Print : June 05 2003
2nd Finger Print : Nov 29 2004

Did not contact any senator or whatsover it is
Also the status never changed for me from day one
The LUD also never changed for me for any event
ALso never called the FBI office for Fingerprint or namecheck

I actually called Dick Durbin's office last week to check the status of my application. Yesterday, I received a call from one of his staff members, indicating that Nebraska Service Center is now adjudicating EB based I-485 with the RD of May 2002. He told me to keep on checking the USCIS and if the receipt date passes my RD, he told me to call back so that they can make a query into my case at USCIS.

Now, I am trying not to think about my case. It really does not do anything to anguish over this. I am now trying to focus my life on other things although this is quite a bit of challenge at times...I'll keep you posted on the status of my case.

Congrats man! Good to see a fellow late Jan filer get approval. Two questions for you:

1. What is your RD for EAD3? I am wondering if they picked ur file to review your EAD application, and ended up (thankfully!) approving the AOS. I have seen similar cases before - and am wishfully hoping for the same (applied for EAD 3 in Oct).

2. How did you come to know of your approval? Email from CIS, Online Status or paper approval copy in mail?

I Had sent the papers to the lawyer for EAD 3 , but the lawyer hadn't opened my mail, when i called yesterday she said it takes 2 days for them to open a mail and then forward it to INS, thereby i told her not to send it to INS

About my approval, the INS sent 4 mails to me, 2 for my wife and 2 for myself late in the night at about 11 pm on 13th
