FYI
Also based on the analysis I have for Oct 2002 I485 receipt date - 50-60% of the cases should be approved by now.
The analysis is as good as the USCIS updating of the site.

Japanese received an RFE (RD: 1/3/03)

Got an email from USCIS at 9pm (amazed that they were actually working at that hour) that they sent an RFE to me yesterday. Now, does anybody know if my lawyer gets or do it get it at home?

Japanese

Thanks, everyone!

Thanks for your kind words, Rsur. I will keep you all posted on what this RFE is about.

Japanese

Congrats Japanese... Ur lawyer will receive RFE if you had one otherwise it will come to you. Have your lawyer fax it to you so you can make sure all items are covered. My lawyer missed one item but i was smart enough to have it faxed to me; but not smart enough to hire such a lousy lawyer. :)

Now you should pray that ur case gets approved b4 PDs are retrogressed to Jan 2002. I just noticed ur Priority Date: July 31, 2000 what will happen to your case then as u r in EB3 category.

I'm on a edgy situation myself, my RFE response was rcvd by INS yesterday 12/15/04 and i have 11 days before the end of the year and my PD is May 2002, so i don't knw what's going to happen to my case. looking at the rate of approvals after RFE responses
gives me hope that mine shud be approved... but u never know.....

amcom,

Japanese is safe in 2000 - that cut off point is confusing to me too.

Given the Approval for RFE these days I think you can look for an approval around

Dec 22 2004

I am crossing my fingers...

amcom -

like Rsur...I am crossing my fingers for you that your approval will come in next week. we have all been through thick and thin during our I-485 journey and I can't help myself but think of your situation as my own. I am with you, amcom and I hope for a speedy approval! I have a feeling that Rsur will also receive his approval before the end of the year. It seems like NSC is eager to clear out Jan/03...

User dong has been approved on Rupnet with RD of 1/13/03.

Looks like January 03 activity is picking up.

RFE for ND Jan-2003

RFE response for both my and my spouse's I-485 cases have been sent to NSC by the attorney today. RFEs were for EVL and Birth certificates.

PD: Jun-2002

RD: Dec-2002
ND: Jan-2003
FP1: Feb-2003
FP2: Aug-2004
RFE: 11/23/2004
RFE Replied: 12/20/2004
AD: ???

Nowadays they are approaving within 1-2 weeks after receiving RFE response, hopefully you will receive your approaval soon.

Can you please explain what did you submitted for BC at the time of 485 filing and what did you submitted now...

clearwater,

Thanks for the encouraging words....

At the time of filing I-485, I submitted a copy of my birth cert along with (2) affidavits from parents and relative. But since my birth cert. was issued only a couple of months prior to my I-485 filing date, the RFE asked me to furnish an earlier record of birth and parentage. As per my attorney's advice, I submitted copies of my school leaving cert. and marks sheet of my 10th std. cert. both of which contain the reqd info.

My update. Don't know what is next

ND: 1/2/03
FP2: 7/21/04
RFE: 11/24/04
RFE received: 12/8/04
Case transferred to local office: 12/20/04
EB3
We are in Kansas.

bnks ,

does your school leaving cert and class 10th marks sheet contains both your dad and moms name ???? because INS will be looking for both the name ..in the supporting documents.

Thanks.

IPC 302,

My school leaving cert. has both names whereas my 10th std. cert. has only father's name. Hope this helps.
