Is it too early for TN renewal?

Hi,
I will be traveling back to Canada this weekend and was wondering if it is too early to renew my TN visa at the border. My current visa is set to expire July 17 2019, so I have about 2 months left.
Should I wait or is it fine to do it this early?

The border is unlikely to accept it, but there is no harm in trying -- UNLESS you have had problems last time with border accepting your quals. -- in which case you might just want to wait to avoid that battle until later.
 
@nelsona thanks for your response.
I've been fortunate enough to never have any issues with getting my TN but this will be my first renewal.
How far in advance do you think I should go? Is it 30 days?

It is up to the border POE, but 2 weeks should be enough for most officers. Like I said, you can try, and they may then tell you when to come back.
