Is it safe to change job after 6 months while my wife's 485 is still pending

Hi, I got my GC through employment, but my wife's 485(derivative beneficiary of me. ) is still pending. I plan to change job six months after GC. Is it safe to do so? Does it have any impact on my wife's pending 485? Thanks.

Thanks Ginnu. I am also in the same situation, my employment based I-485 is approved and wife's filed after my approval as a derivated. Does it matter if I leave the job before 6 months. lets say after 3 months?

------------Many lawyer say work for 6 months with employer who filed GC so that no questions at the time of YOUR citizenship ( it has nothing to do with your wife pending I-485)
