Is it possible to call USCIS and check the GC status

I arrived in the US with DV package last week of May. So, can I somehow call USCIS and ask them what is happening with my paperwork and when should I anticipate my GC??? If there is a phone number you might know, please provide!

Go online to their website, you will fill in some info and be able to track if your GC is being processed or not.
 
You may check the status of your application online at “My Case Status” (see the link to the right). Please remember that an e-filed receipt number may not be available through “My Case Status” for 72 hours.You should be prepared to provide the USCIS staff with specific information about your application, such as your receipt number, Alien Registration Number, name and date of birth.
