IS 6 months good enough for I- 485

It all depends, some cases takes less than 6 months and some take more than 6 months, mine took 5 months. got approved last week, filed in september 2009, good luck!
 
Yeh. I've heard of some people receiving their GCs in 26 days. Some have been waiting for 12 years. But the ones who've filed in recent past...especially the past 15 months or so...they've been pretty "lucky".
 
DON't worry you will get it soon..now is more fast...five years ago the process was so slow.....check everyday your case status on their website
 
thanks for the responses. theses days i pretty much gang up on the mail man hoping to hear something. I have never left the country since getting asylum. recently i got another letter to do the biometrics for the RTD. I just hope I can get through by july because I already planned my vaction for ending of July
