Interview!

I notice u av been shying away from this question from other forum members. If i may ask, are u not proud of ur Country where u came from? Well, if u say so. Nobody in this house is here to make fun of you. We are asking this questions so that we can use it as case study to other members who had similar issues like yours. We are one big family in this thread and we are here to make sure you get all the best advice as much as we have within out reach. One Love bro!

No man, nothing to be shy off, I love my country soo much. I just kinda feel its a personal thing..

Well its in the Middle East, they all have the same procedures..

Hehe, don't blame me not to worry. Man just thinking that you have been waiting for this moment for more than 8 months, and now its very close, then you might get denied.... The long wait for this interview is not easy at all, makes you live this dream day by day...

jayo2k, I wish you all good luck!! but man you freaked me out with your posts ! you are the main reason of me stressing a lot... still I love u ! because you did make it taste a lot better when I was accepted... U did make me start thinking of me immigrating to CANADA in one of your post.. I was like fcuk nooooo, I don't want to live in CANADA!!!

heey Sam, What is wrong with Canada? Jayo2k was just giving you his opinion. He doesn't want you to loose everything outrightly. If i eventually find myself in Canada why won't i stay there. People are living there and who knows where ur destiny lies. God knows best and i think if God says Canada is where my destiny lies, beloveth, i will run to Canada the next hour. I know the God i serve and i know HE will choose the best for me.
Nevertheless, i still want to beliv u gained alot from this forum which is full of God loving people. Please never cease to pray for them. One Love!

I'm glad to see i was wrong. Canada personally, is nice for a quite normal life, like if you do not realy want to make it big, just raising a familly anonymously... If you are ambitious... USA hands down, when you make it in usa, you make it BIG, many canadians are moving to usa after graduation that's one of the reason the canadian goverment is dying for young immigrants to make up for the aging population & the loss due to emmigration.

For me, Canada is a great place to study but since i'm ambitious, after graduation, USA straight away.

Here few tips :

- Avoid troubled neighbours (when we talk about violence in usa, we MEAN it, not the european "violence" but real violence)
- Build your credit score as soon as you arrive, it will help you
- Do not mess with taxes
- good mobile phone plan for starters : metro PCS (the best), Boosts, Virgin

Well, I'm staying in the boston area for the moment so i know some things. I would like to help if any has questions

So how wuld u compare Boston to like Texas in terms of Job, Accommodation, ETC.
In texas you definitely need a car to go around, the public transportation even in big cities are not that great.
Housing in texas as a whole is very & by that I mean very cheap, Boston is one of the most expensive US city behind New york (I think on part with DC & San francisco) in term of housing

Job: Boston is doing a good job in reducing the unemployement rate, it is not at about 6% while in texas is about 8-9 (but i'm comparing a metro area with a state so...)
education : I do not think there are many city who can compete with boston

The economy in Canada is hands down far more superior compared to the United States. The idea of being ambitious in the United States means nothing no more unless you own a successful business. If you're working for somebody else then you can forget it unless you're a doctor or dentist etc.

I work fulltime for the time being while taking a break out of education. I work in a restaurant in Canada earning $11-12 an hour while my friend doing the SAME job in America only earns a little $7.75 an hour.

Pilots in the United States also are living on food stamps. How is that a better ambitious economy?

Though I still like the United States, saying it has a better economy then Canada or any other country is a bit far fetched.

Living costs and health care are far more better in Canada also.

congratulations! sam 1982

Am so happy for uuu.. a big congratulations....
for the fellow forums member facing similar problem may Allah help us.:eek:

I know some pilots, none live on food stamps. You may be earning more per hour waitressing in Canada, but they make tips here too (which can be tax free).
I know plenty of people here who start their own businesses, some fail, some succeed - no different to any other country - but what I like here, is that the spirit of entrepreneurship is encouraged, supported and celebrated.
I'm Australian - one of the best performing economies in the world right now, and all through the GFC, and I am very proud of my country, but I wouldn't say it was stronger than the USA. The USA economy is huge and has great flexability. I wouldn't smirk at it now while it is having a tough phase. I'm sure Canada is a great country, and I suspect alot like Australia, but nevertheless, there are more Canadians immigrating to the USA than there are Americans going to Canada???? You? - for example?

Just got my visa today valid for six months

@sam1982, Thank God u got ur visa atlast. Now d very big question. Can u tell us ur Interview experience and for God sake ur Home Country?

This entire thread is about my interview experience... check the first posts..

Country is in the middle east Syria/Jordan/Saudi-Arabia/Qatar/Lebanon/Iran/Kuwait/Bahrain they all follow the same procedures ...

My interview was very simple and clear... I did submit all the documents required, but had one missing paper... I was told to bring it another time to get my visa, which I did, and got my visa within a week of submitting the missing paper. I was asked for the affidavit of support. I was not put under administrative processing, and my visa is valid for six months. if you need full details follow up this thread from the beginning.

Hi

I already did drop my document same day after my interview. Thanks for at least giving me hope, and wishing me good luck...

If my visa was denied they would have told me come pick my passport and documents and not not kept them for like a week now...

Not to mention, it hasn't been 3 working days yet, Friday, and Monday was holiday for eastern... Saturday/Sunday they are closed

Man I am trying to post to help people out, and some here just posting things they don't know about and stress me out....

Please just comment if you really know what you are talking about, or having a good source.

I hope by now you got your visa already.....i think it was just a case of the missing BC and your good to go.....again if your from Arab countries,Iran they might put you through AP.
