Interview Scheduling taking too long...

Hi guys :)

I've been checking my status like up to 20 times a day, I'm really going crazy. It currently says:

"On July 11, 2011, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. (etc)"

It's already the 21th, and still not YL or even IL for all that matters. This is really depressing. Specially when I check some fellow member's timeline and I saw it only took 5-7 day for them to be "Scheduled for interview" at least.

Any help or past experiences similar to this one? Please share with me.....I'm so worried. How long did your IL took after doing FPs? Any help, or advise would be greatly appreciated in this time of need and desperation for me.... thank you, sorry for such long post.
 
The process has been very fast. But ever since they transferred it to my local office it has lost it's "fastness". I don't wish to say their level of icompetence is astonishing, but they're super slow to say the least, at least scheduling for a bloody interview. How hard can it be....it's scheduling.....it's not even the IL, nor the interview itself.

Mailing n400 to taking FP .........that is very fast.......the back log comes when you have to get all these applicants interviewed....back in the day it used to take much longer...even a yr after FP was not unusual......its much faster today, relatively speaking ofcourse:)))
