Interview Reschedule Letter Arrived

Rescheduled interview is on 10/07/2009, barely within three month of original interview which is canceled on June 15.

If DO decdide to deschedule due to "unforseen circumstances such as staffing issue (IO take sick leave vacation, resign etc), will they try to
avoid descheduling those who have been desceduled before?

There's no guarantees they won't..someone recently posted that their interview was rescheduled twice.

Try to stay positive WBH, as Bob suggest these things are almost certainly handled by computer software. Totally unfeeling and uncaring it just moves slots.

It would be a cruel blow to you if you are rescheduled again, but there can be no guarantees.

Try not to worry and over-think as there is nothing you can do about it. Take that from a natural born worrier and over-thinker. :D

You have a great bunch of supporters here on this forum and if you were to be rescheduled again, you can count on us all here to help you get though it.

WBH: Was there any reason to get the INFOPASS after almost 2 months? I ask the question since I had my interview scheduled for 09/18/2009 and I got the cancellation notice on 09/08/2009.

I always thought it would arrive in next few days even it had not arrived in the previou few days.
 
WBH: I scheduled an INFOPASS at the DO for tomrorow to find out what was the reason for the descheduling. Let's see what I find out.

If you like you can simply go to the DO with your original interview letter on 09/18/09
and still get interviewed

Many pretend not to have received the cancel letter but if you do not want to lie you can say "I got thsi letter butI come here to make sure my interview was indeed cancelled". If the receptionist confirm teh cancel then you can say :"Since I am already here, do you think I can still be interviewed?". With luck, maybe you can.

Hmmmm ... not a bad idea. I as going to ask at the INFOPASS appointment the same thing since I was planning to take everything with me anyways.

Now I just need to flip a coin and either do the INFOPASS or go in on Friday for the interview and do as you describe. :rolleyes:

Just came back from INFOPASS.

I was told by the IO that my file did not arrive in time for the 09/18/2009 interview date and hence the descheduling notice was automatically sent out.

He found out that I was already assigned a new date (11/10/2009) for which the letter has not been mailed yet.

08/14/09: Yellow Notice Received

09/17/09: Informed of new ID (INFOPASS)
