Interview Needed?

Yes. 110% of the time.
USCIS will not give an immigration benefit without ensuring that they are not commiting fraud...

Sometimes (i.e the couple has been married for 5 years and have 3 children together) the interview is waived. But 99.9% of the times there will be an interview.

I was told that almost always there is an interview but IO also told me that there are situations where there USCIS will waive it. She said our case has potential for no-intervew but will not guarantee that.

Either way, no big deal to me. We have absolutely nothing to hide!

one couple I knew, have been married for 8 years by the time she completed her AOS. THey had an interview anyway.
