Hi All!

I am new to this so bare with me on explaining my situation...

I have applied for an adjustment of status for my mother who has been here for 24 years. she entered legally but just never left because she became pregnant with me. I am now 23 years old and have filed for her adjusment. Everything has moved very quickly for us and she has been granted an itnerview in San Francisco on December 3rd. I am incredibly nervous since she has been illegal here for 23 years! She has worked here and there cleaning houses, not nearly enough to support the family or file taxes, but we still did state shes done a few misc. jobs because we didnt want to lie on the applcaition for obvious reasons. My uncle has been our core supporter for many years. I am now a social worker with enough income to support us both, and have a clean background. My mother also has a very clean background, no criminal record, never fell into the system, nothing...So my question is, has anyone had any similar experiences? Any advice for the interview??? I'm really nervouse about the quiestions they may ask. I will be going with her as the petitioner as well as her translator. She no longer speaks fluent english because she lost that language a few years back after having a severe stroke.

Thanks so much for your help and support!!

As long as she has proof of her inspected entry, she should be fine.

If she came in legally (and have a prove!) she's fine. They won't ask much on interview anyway, probably just proof of relations and such. Good luck!
