I had a 1:25 pm today (08/11/2009). I arrived at 12:40 and checked-in at 2nd Floor. I was asked to wait in the 3rd floor. It had to wait till 2:00 pm. Apparently the IO was looking for me in 2nd floor earlier; then he came up to 3rd floor looking for me (he asked whether I was asked to wait in 3rd floor and indicated that the staff at the check-in window mess things up).

Anyway the interview was smooth. Few parts of the application were first reviewed. I got the first 6 civic questions right so the IO stopped. Asked me to read "What country is in north of U.S". I was not expected to answer the question that I read. He actually asked to write "Canada is north of the United States".

He congratulated and gave me a paper indicating that I passed the interview. Asked me to wait to collect Oath letter. It is on Aug 26 1 pm.

Congratulations VVV!! Can you please let us know what was requested in the CFR?
thanks.

Congrats, quick question for the interview civic questions , do we just answer questions with short answer or make any kind of description ?

Congrats, quick question for the interview civic questions , do we just answer questions with short answer or make any kind of description ?

I just provided answers to the question. For .e.g I was asked - who makes federal laws? I just answered - Congress. In fact for one of the questions - why did colonists fought the British? - I answered two reasons spontaneously. I took a second to answer third reason. But before I finished the answer, the IO said that's OK and marked it as answered.

I guess it depends on the IO. Some may be picky :)

Congrats - We had the same experience except 2nd/3rd floor issue

Congrats VVV2009!!!!

My wife had interview on 12th at 1.30 PM. Actual schedule was 12.25 PM
Because it was too late for same day oath at 2 PM, they scheduled her
oath on 26th at 1 PM.

Where I had my interview on 13th at 9 AM and could complte my oath on thesame day.

Good luck for your Oath
