Hello! I filed for my mother and she will be interviewed in Garden City. She is not fluent in English. Can I be her interpreter? If not, what arrangements should I make? Thank you so much!
 
Depends on the adjudicator. You may or may not be allowed to act as an interpreter. One may see it as conflict of interest. I would advise you to take a friend of yours to act as an interpreter.
