Interim EAD

Does anybody know whether they issue interim EAD anymore?

Interim EAD is issued if somebody has not received his EAD after 90 days of filing. It is like temporary EAD which USCIS issues until they make the decision on the regular case.

So how does it work if somebody has not received his EAD after 90 days beside calling them every week and making infopass appointment.

Can one do anything or just suffer of USCIS incompetencies?

You can put in service request either by calling USCIS or during the infopass with your local office. They have to tell you what is going on with your case, you should get the response within 45 days (possibly sooner)

I have already opened service request last monday but it has been a week but they haven't touched my application after biometrics. I am going for Infopass next Tuesday but perhaps my case approves before next Tuesday.
