Hi Want,

Your bio schedule is on 08/23/2005. It won't have any different even if you have your Bio done today. NSC is just starting to process cases filed received in October 2000.

william419,

To the best of my knowledge, your statement is incorrect. I know two people with NDs from 2001 that have been approved. They are both from the same country and live in Chicago.

Hi Sam,

Show me the LIN#; I will believe you. Also, the percentage of that 2 out of 29353 asylee filed in 2001 is only 0.0068%. If you are the lucky one, you could have your RFI and BIO long time ago.

I also know few people personally whoose dates are in early 01 and they are approved..What is your date...? Why so much hostility??...There is no such thing as "lucky" with USCIS...Your application will be processed if it's in the top of the queue to be processed....I dont believe USCIS goes ok today lets pick application so and so from down the road date and approve it..

I think most of the applications that are pending(2000 or 1999) cases are in a hold patten from the higher-ups to release them...

wantmygcnow! I have to disagree with you on this strict queue theory. Although CIS does not do it intentionally but their queue has disparaties in the neighborhood of 6 months or so. It is quite obvious. They are approving July 00 and Apr 01 cases simultaneously. Well even if Apr 01 person lied on this forum, there are definitely 3 people with Oct 00 who have been approved.

I am not even saying that they don't follow the strict queue pattern. There is a lot of human interaction in processing application (like requesting more evidence & lazy and hardworking officers) which automatically causes disparity.

Lazer, I know what you mean but my point was that USCIS wont just pull out a 2001 application from the queue and go lets work on this guy...Why aren't 2004 or 2005 applicants getting BIO or RFI etc? I totally agree with you that most are processed late because of poor officer etc...but my point was 1999-2001 cases should be processed soon...I dont know what soon is..6 months?
approved..does it mean they got lucky?

Hi Want,

NSC is processing up to October 2000 cases now, but not those filed in calendar year 2001 yet. The chance for those who filed in calendar year 2001 get approval is really slim, I guess less than 0.01% (29353 x 0.01% = 3) at this time. Those who got approval must be in exception or the lucky one. Why rushing to do the Bio before your schedule date since your notice date was in May 2001. I don't see your point. You just drive NSC flood with unwanted phone call. 29,353 asylee filed in fiscal year 2001; can you imagine how much resources needed to handle these phone calls. I guess you just expecting your case line up front of those filed in early fiscal year 2001, so you will get approved before them. That is absolutely wrong. Well, you might be the lucky one.

William, my Friend..USCIS is processing cases with notice dates of DEC 1999 and not 2000. Thats the actual date on USCIS's website and if you call them thats what they will tell you.

NO I DON"T want to get ahead in line and I DONT THINK they will put in front. The ONLY REASON I called USCIS was to make sure that the BIO was sent to the right address because if you dont get it YOUR APPLICATION IS ABANDONED!!! IF they hadn't sent BIO to other 2001 dates, I Wouldn't even care..but since they had..I had to call them to make sure...SO take a chill pill man!..and I am gonan go MONDAY to do my bio 20 days ahead...who cares..get done with it..

Hi Want,

You got the BIO notice; it is up to you to jump ahead as long as your case doesn't mess up in NSC. I still don't see the difference.

Hi Want,

My timeline was much before you. Don't have the exact information now, but it was in fiscal year 2000.

Wil, What have you done..bio rfi etc?...dont u have the LIN# to find out your ND?...

Hi Want,

My timeline is not the point in our conversation. I just want to provide information I know to this website. Hopefully, you and others have some ideas what should be followed and done.

William

Hello all,

Somebody requested LINs of those approved: Here it is but will hide several digits: LIN0113xxxxxx. BTW this guy got approved and he claims he did not do BIO?!

Lucky? I do not know...

William,

Maybe the timeline, is not the point of the conversation, but we try to share this information so that we have better understanding of what is going on. Hope you understand.

Hi Sam,

I believe you are knowledgeable to justify how accurate the information is. Even if it is truth, he must be in exception or the lucky one. LIN01-13x-xxxxx means ND somewhere in April 2001. Ridiculous to know this information. By the way, I will believe it if someone shows me the LIN#. Will you be the exception one. Anything can be happened.

Hi John,

Who know? NSC is processing cases with ND up to october 2000 at this time. Assuming NSC takes one month to process most of the October 2000 cases and about the same amount of time to process the following month, I guess you might get it in 6 months. Excited or still upset?

I remember reading on this forum, an official notice by NSC stating that they send RFI to those who they identified as "eligible" for adjustment in this fisical year (ending 09/05). If this is the case, you have the possiblity getting approved soon.
