I was trying to take an appointment for BIO and see if i can get it done before my scheduled appointment ( Aug 18) ,for the nearest INS office. But even though i enter the zip code of that office it still takes me to another office. Anybody had this problem.
I am trying to select a local center but it is always selecting Los angeles office on 300 N. Los angeles. Where as the office i am looking for is listed on the web site and also my letter has my appointment for that office . Any advice??

When they ask you for the Zip code for info pass, it means the Zip code where you live. Meaning your mailing address's zip code, so they can provide you with the offices nearest to your home!! Please key in your zip code and when the list is displayed you will be able to see the office address where you are supposed to go to.

States like California and Virginia that are big...have a "National" Service Center & a "local" service center. For the Infopass appointments that usually require an officer to be present, you are routed to the national service center because they strictly are used for filing an application or talking to an officer about your case..the Local service centers are used for fingerprints etc.

If you dont see your local service center(where you are scheduled for BIO) in the INfopass, it means you can't make an appointment there...You can simply walk in and see if they can do your biometrics.
