If an employer cancels I-140 of an employee, how long INS Vermont center takes to inform applicant.
 
INS/BCIS/USCIS will NOT notify about the i140 revocation to the employee or benefitiary because that is NOT your petition.

incase you filed i485 along with i140 or filed using i140 receipt then you WILL get a notice from the service center about your denial of i485 with reason.

if you have not filed i485 then your only option
(other than employer/attorney) to know i140 revocation is using the uscis website or phone system using its receipt number.

i tried several times to check online status by entering Receipt Number of I-140, but alwasy it displays the message that status of this receipt number is not found this time. what does this means?Saigc
 
Possible reasons,

1. You might not have a right number.
2. You not entering the number right. ( if it starts with WAC you have enter wac too, and without '-')
3. Yes, your employer might have withdrew the case.

my case is in Vermont center, and i am entering correct number as i have a copy of I-140 receipt. I am entering like :
EACXXXXXXXXXX

I need to know, that if my employer has canceled my I140. why Online status doesnot display status as canceled or denied?
 
EACXXXXXXXXXX( for all the X you have to punch the number on receipt) or listen to AVM at night time 1-800375-5283, keep the receipt with you and punch the numbers as on receipt with EAC ( you also need to punch EAC)
 
I am entering correct number and i also tried 1800-3755283 telephone number to check status. But both online and telephone services gives the same message i.e status cannot be fond this time.
 
Why not call the center and talk to them. Since you seem to have tried all the other options, that might be the only option left. Hope it works out well for you.
 
Yes, i talked INS Vermont center.
but Customer Representative, also dont know whats the staus of my I-140. and also dont know why online and tel. service is unable to give me the status.
she told me that she will notify the department about that.
