I got PR card in 2004. From 2004 to August 2007 I made multiple trips out of US and one of them lasted even more then 6 months.
Since September 2007 to date, i lived in US and just spent 3 weeks out side US in 2009. So for last 5 years I am in US with the exception of only 3 weeks.
Now i am thinking of applying for Citizenship and i am worried of time period between 2004 and August 2007, as most of which i spent out side US and one of the trip lasted more then six months.

My question is that can i face problem in interview or as i am in US for past 5 years with exception of 3 weeks, i will be fine ?
 
In the application form you are asked for only the trips in the last 5 years I beleive (please check the N400 form). in this case I think you should be okay since you will judged from mid-2007.

You have to record since becoming PR. Be truthful. I do not think one stay abroad of over 6 months but less than a year (more than 5 years back) will affect your case.
