Incredible & Impressive Statistics

Well folks,
In the recently released statistics, TSC claims that
it has around 65,000 I-485 applications pending. Well, if i
remember right, there were 82,000 I-485 applications pending as
per the statistics released in the 1st week of August 2001. If
these statistics were to be true (i don\'t see why they are not),
it only means one thing. That is, TSC should have processed
around 20,000 I-485 applications in the last 2 months. That
would be amazing!

I used the following simple calculation to arrive at the figure
of 20,000.

(Applications processed in the last 2 months =
Applications pending in the first week of August -
Applications pending in the first week of October +
New applications received in the last 2 months)

20,000 = 82,000 - 65,000 + 3,000

How ever, i don\'t know how true are the numbers released by TSC.
I can only guess that they can not be very wrong.

Well, If this trend continues and if TSC continues to work on the
I-485s with the same amount of priority, we should be fine
pretty soon.

Well, this note may look pretty optimistic, all that we can do is
hope for the best and keep our fingers crossed.

By the way my wife has just received the finger print notices,
the weird part is that i have not received the finger prints.

It may well be true.
I thing lots of folk who filed at TSC are just silent sufferers
and choose not to post their approvals in this forum or at
immitracker.

I doubt it !

Hi,

I hope what you calculated is true, but I have a question:

Can you explain that why there are 76, 574 pending 765EB cases ?

Maybe

It is quite possible that a lot of people dropped out of the queue due to change in
job location or maybe even lost jobs....

Not accurate

Did you know that it took more than 8 months for the date to move from July 99 to Jan 00? So 20000 cases were not done in one month. They had been working on them for a while.

Also I have a Sep 99 application and have not received any reply from INS. So they have missed some.

Best of luck.

Hmmm... very interesting. I guess in this case May \'01 filers should get their apporvals by Feb/Mar 02 (in the best case). I think that the lucky people typically get their GCs in 9/10 months.

Just for stats:
Wife+I= I-485 RD May 6, 01: ND Jul 30, 01
Wife+I= EADs sometime in mid-Aug 01
Only I= AP somethine in mid-Aug 01 (Don\'t know why the heck no AP for wife)

Good luck everybody...
