Well folks,
In the recently released statistics, TSC claims that
it has around 65,000 I-485 applications pending. Well, if i
remember right, there were 82,000 I-485 applications pending as
per the statistics released in the 1st week of August 2001. If
these statistics were to be true (i don\'t see why they are not),
it only means one thing. That is, TSC should have processed
around 20,000 I-485 applications in the last 2 months. That
would be amazing!
I used the following simple calculation to arrive at the figure
of 20,000.
(Applications processed in the last 2 months =
Applications pending in the first week of August -
Applications pending in the first week of October +
New applications received in the last 2 months)
20,000 = 82,000 - 65,000 + 3,000
How ever, i don\'t know how true are the numbers released by TSC.
I can only guess that they can not be very wrong.
Well, If this trend continues and if TSC continues to work on the
I-485s with the same amount of priority, we should be fine
pretty soon.
Well, this note may look pretty optimistic, all that we can do is
hope for the best and keep our fingers crossed.
By the way my wife has just received the finger print notices,
the weird part is that i have not received the finger prints.
