Incorrect Case processing dates on the USCIS WebSite

This is pretty interesting. I was browsing through the USCIS website to check for the current processing dates for santa ana , CA. It shows Jan 22 2006 which is strange because it was showing Apr 2006 before the last update. It looks like all the DO's are now showing Jan 22 2006 as the current processing date for N-400. I found that pretty strange & thought Id share it with you guys.

DC DO changed to Dec' 17, 2005....Pretty interesting

DC Do was Feb' 2006 and has gone back to Dec' 2005 now. That's interesting as some of the folks here have dates for March' 2006 and have recd. intereview letters. ONLINE STATUS at USCIS is a JOKE!!!! Hopefully they will FIX it immediately.

Latest Graphs for DO's processing dates - dates look bogus from them this time

I think they were too lazy with the summer to be bothered to put in the proper dates...it's a farce this month as most DO's all of a sudden are showing Jan 22, 2006...go figure

Please read the fine print. From the page about Seattle processing times (https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/officeProcesstimes.jsp?selectedOffice=75):

Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has improved the reporting procedure for processing times of immigration benefit applications.

...

Effective immediately, when we are completing applications and petitions within our service level goals we will report that as the processing time.

...

For example, when our service level goal is to process a particular kind of case within six months, and if our processing time is six months or less, we will show a date consistent with our service level goal because that reflects our commitment.

...

When we are not meeting our service level goal, the date posted will reflect the filing date of cases that are being completed.

USCIS' commitment for naturalization applications is 6 months processing time. Since they're doing better than that, they're officially showing the processing time as 6 months.

Nothing has really changed.

But the issue is that on 8/25, 6 months is not 1/22. It is 2/25 (or to cut them some slack 2/22). What's January got to do with it? Unless they post everything a month late? Which kind of defeats the purpose.

As I have mentioned earlier, IT's a BIG JOKE to LOOK at CASE STATUS ONLINE on USCIS...No matter how much money is spent, you may never be able to get it perfect.

Remember, we all are paying for it!!!
