In the US, what now ?

You can stay out for one year with a green card, or for two years if you apply for a re-entry permit before you leave.
But: if I understand this correctly, the husband can no longer get a DV based green card and the wife is petitioning him, in this case, as far as I understand, she needs to be resident in the US - and show an income big enough in the US - to do so. So if she is not staying in the US (again as far as I understand) she cannot successfully petition for a green card for him. If this is the case then this is indeed no longer a DV discussion and you would get better information in the family based forums.
Thanks a lot, appreciate your help.

Hello, I will talk behind my nephew ; I just translate for her.

I had a mistake when we did our interview as CP dv2015 lottery which it was did provide police clearance certificate for my husband who lived in in Europe for some years in the past, the Counsolor gave the visa for me and my children and my husband couldn't come with us to the usa.
All of us received our GC recently and i applied for my husband to come here 45 days after i arrived and received our GC. But as you know it will tak a lot of time process to bring my husband.

Now I am not able to live here alone with 2 young children and I would like to leave the usa and go to the home country. Do you have any advice?
Is it necessary to stay here or I can go to my home country to be there with my family until my husband make his interview and come all together.
what is the maximum time allowed to stay out of the usa. And if there is any action needs to be done before leaving?
Thanks

If the wife wants to return home without jeopardizing her own GC, she will need to apply for a re-entry permit for herself and her children. This will enable them to stay away for up to 2 years without loosing their LPR status.

The wife doesn't necessarily need to be residing in the US for the whole duration of the process. She should be okay to leave if she's made adequate arrangements for receiving any mail the NVC may need to send to her following the I-130 filing. She should also be okay if she has someone in the US who is willing to sign as a co-sponsor when the time comes for her to show evidence she has the required annual income to support her family.

The caveat here of course is that she will need to be able to show concrete evidence of re-establishing domicile in the US by the time the husband needs to attend his interview at the consulate.

Hello people,

I hope you may help me a little to do things right, I am new in the US (Dv Lottery).

I applied for a Social Security number (card) : I will get it in 2 weeks.
I applied for a bank account.
I got an apartment (Lease + rent paid).

Now, I need to change delivery address of my greencard, I went to USCIS in Manhattan and they asked me to do it online, can you please help me with that ? they also provided me a form to send to the USCIS main office, since we are on the weekend, and Online applications are faster & reliable, did any of you made this kind of request ? if yes please give a hand.

Also, I am supposed to sign some kind of paper (related to military service I think, I am 25 y/o), can someone give me some details ?

One more question, what medical care should I apply for ? any help is welcome.

Finally, What is a Tax-Return form ? (I am originally from a tax-free country), so I am a bit confused.

Thank you all.

Change of address: https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do
Selective Service: https://www.sss.gov/Home/Registration
Healthcare: https://www.healthcare.gov/
Tax-Return form: https://www.irs.gov/Forms-&-Pubs
- form submitted that shows your income and tax for calendar year. So, if you came to US in 2015, you need to file tax return by April 15, 2016 (or October 15, 2016 if you apply for extension). You must file whether or not you earn income.
An accountant can help you with filling your tax form.

If you're planning on going to school in the US, you'll need to get your degree evaluated by a professional organization such as WES, ECE, e.t.c. The outcome of the degree evaluation will determine whether or not your current bachelors degree is equivalent to a US bachelors degree.

https://www.wes.org/
https://www.ece.org/

You can go through the above links to have an idea of what's likely to be required so that you may gather the necessary documents in advance. However, I suggest you narrow down on the school you wish to attend first before contacting any of the organization to get your degree evaluated - some schools have specific organizations they use for foreign degree evaluation.

Working hours depends on the type of employment you take up.

In addition to mom's good advice, note that even if your degree is not equivalent you may not need to redo an entire bachelors, it may be possible to make up the required credit by doing a few courses at a local college. In the first instance as mom has said you should identify which graduate school you are interested in and contact them. Different colleges have different entry requirements too.
