In state tuition

I'm on F1 right now and I was wondering if anybody knows if you can start paying in state tuition after applying for AOS. EU45xx
Thank you,

depends on the state. In some you can start paying in-state after you file I-485. In others - when you become a permanent resident. In the rest - a year and one day after you became a resident and spent that year in that particular state. And you can't study full-time during that first year.

So, find out at your college's financial aid center/registrar.

Thank you, LucyMO.
This is what the international student advisor told me today : "If the adjustment of status application was based on your spouse or your parent (if you are under 25) you can use their residency for in state tution now as long as they have been in Florida for one year and are residents. For you to use your own proof of residency, you must be an applicant for adjustment of status for one year.":(
