Impact of change of address on AOS

I am planning to move to another apartment. How does it impact my pending I-485 application?

Does changing addresses make the GC approval slower?

No it does not. Remember to fill out AR-11 and notify USCIS separately; both can be done online at uscis.gov.

Speed of approval is contingent on work load only, and not on things like address change, etc. There have been RFEs issued (rarely) if the person moves out of state; USCIS wants to know how the person is still working for the sponsor if he or she moved elsewhere. But a different apartment in the same geographical area is inconsequential to the officer.

----------------file the form AR11 and also change the Address with USCIS , if I-485 is filed by lawyer then also update the lawyer office
