Guys,

Since once in a blue moon, we are confronted with a number of would-be-immigrants-if-we-cheat, I found this news article in one of the local TV channels in Washington, DC.

The article deals with a Lebanese woman, who came to the US and entered into a fake marriage to get his papers... Anyway, read for yourselves...

In short, those who think they can outsmart the USCIS into gaining immigration benefits through fraudalent means and get away with it.......you have been again, forewarned. The long arms of justice will one day catch you and do you wrong....:D:D

A recent posting by In-Love whose boyfriend obtained his greencard fraudalently after getting married which nullified his petition...should take this to consideration....

What I find astounding about this case is that she must have passed namecheck (possibly several times), because she was not only granted LPR & USC but also a high level security clearance!

Interesting article, but sadly, I don't think this would discourage people intended to commit immigration fraud.

i read the article and it seems that if she didnt access that classified information, they would've never found out that the marriage was a sham. So i really dont understand the praise for USCIS, if they did their job properly, she shouldnt have had her citizenship int he first place.

No one is praising USCIS, but you make a good point on USCIS failure to detect fraud in the first place. However, the gist of the article in my view is this: she committed this fraud years ago, but now that she's found, she's being dealt with.... So, for those who seek to commit these sorts of act, you might not seek to access classified material, but somehow..people find a way of undoing themselves...:(

Remember that you reap what you sow... :DU can't sow apples and expect watermelons.....

what I am wondering is how they went from "improper search of the FBI database" to "the marriage was never consummated sexually"?

marriage consumation is in the constitution of the US... You never read the bill of rights...which is hidden in a secret archivals at the Library of Congress....

Is there any other way to consummate a marriage? :)

333,

Yes, there is another way.... being paid lot of dollars..... Apparently the guy who got paid to help the lady get her papers, complained to the investigators that he never got laid... He asked to be retroactively laid with the lady and was refused...fear of contaminating the evidence.... her virginity....:)

Lol...
