So I've taken the oath and I have my Nat. certificate now with me but my case status is still stuck on RFE.
I'm really a citizen now, right? I'm in the system even if the system has not updated it, right?

You're a US citizen the moment you take oath. The online case status has nothing to do with your citizenship status.

Lol. I was thinking the same thing today, mine is still on "Testing & Interview"... and yet I got my DL without the FN on it today! =D

Hi
I am just curious. What do you mean by"DL without the FN on it today! =D" What is FN and D. Can you please clarify that?
Thanks

I have no site that states anything about my Indian citizenship. Am I an Indian citizen or not? I have only Georgia state DL. Anybody? :)

Your online status is going to change as soon as you stop being "grumpy" and "bear" your all out...lol!!!

Congratulations!!!! Don't worry about USCIS systems, they won't change until we have a Bush in the White House.

Are you serious that some states put FN on driver's licenses? Isn't that some form of discrimination? I now realize why traffic in ATL is the worst in the Southern states, lot of FN down there...lol!!!!

Yes, but it's permitted because a license issued to an alien doesn't have any additional restrictions on it.

If you want to get into a politically incorrect discussion about the inability of certain foreigners to drive properly, I can compare ATL with YYZ. :)

Finally, I see one benefit of being a foreigner in this country...lol!!!! Unfortunately, it appears this benefits is only offered in ATL, any other state offering this? I didn't see it on my DL in MD, but I have had my DL since I had diplomatic accreditation.

I guess these FN licenses are more recent? I moved from Canada to Atlanta in 2002 and my DL (renewed in 2006) appears to be FN-free. Does this mean I can skip changing my DL?

The new one in GA looks interesting, if your current one doesn't expire anytime soon, why bother going to stand in line and be chewed upon by unprofessional people? I wonder if I can get a DL with no expiration date? I need to talk to the Gov, he's running for reelection and maybe I can blackmail him...

I appears this is the American Beauty way....
