im a female they wrote me as a male in my new passport

i seriously dont understand they wrote me down as a male i LOOK LIKE A 1000000% FEMALE my certificate has FEMALE my question is what happens next do i give the passport back do i have to take a new pic for the new passport? what do i have to do im so pissed off how can someone be this dumb at the agency? i cant call them cuz they are closed but monday is too far away for me to not have any info on this topic..can u guys tell me what will happen?
P.S DONT LAUGH AT ME :(

nyc_nyc_nyc, I'm sorry. geese. When I wrote to Ombudsman, they wrote me back as Mr versus Mrs. They mess my name too. Whose is doing the data entry? I wish I could tell how to fix it ;)

Sorry to hear that. Goto the passport agency and request to speak to the director and show him/her what they did, he/she will probabaly straighten it out and give you back your passport right away.

Give them the benefit of the doubt for now.- :D
 
i never thought i would ask this odd question..can i still travel as a MAN? will anyone at airport ask questions and say "hey u look like a real woman" or will they pull me to the side and investigate? what will go down folks?

thanks..i called that # before also, they are closed i have to wait mon-fri 8am-10 eastern time lol... i will try to fix this..its just that i was waiting for it and now that its here im a "MAN" in it..Will they ask me to submit a new photo?????
 
It's not that bad being a man ;) All joking aside, they probably will. Take them with you, if you have any to spare.
 
it says it on my natz certificate female in caps, i just dont understand why the stupid mistake..does anyone know how long they take to correct it? what if i lie and say im traveling soon?

I would say they'll take care of it immediately. You don't have to lie to get it right away. Just ask.-
 
Well, if you need to travel before this get's fixed
and they give you hard time at the border, you can
always say you are a transsexual.... :D
 
I wanted to update this info incase it happens to anyone else..I have to return the passport iwth the nat-certificate and they will re-write the error and send it to me in 2 weeks, I dont have to take new pictures..I hope to do this soon It's weird being a man.
