TO ALL MEMBERS PLS HELP,

MY STEPSON FILED A PETITION FOR ME AND HIS MOTHER(MY WIFE) MY PROBLEM IS I HAVE ILLEGITIMATE CHILDREN UNKOWN TO MY WIFE AND MY STEPSON.NOW, IN THE DS 230 I CAN NOT PUT THE NAMES OF MY ILLEGITIMATE CHILDREN BECAUSE MY WIFE DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT MY ILLEGITIMATE CHILDREN.mY QUESTION IS;
1.CAN I PETITION MY ILLEGITIMATE CHILDREN IN THE FUTURE IF I DID NOT DISCLOSE THEM IN THE DS230 > WILL THERE BE A PROBLEM IF I WILL PETITION THEM IN THE FUTURE.? I can not disclose them now in the ds230 since my wife would discover that i have illegitimate children during our interview. PLS HELP ME. THANK YOU
 
You provide all information on DS-230 under oath and to the best of your knowledge, if you lie and do not disclose then forget about sponsoring other children ever as you will be charged with lying under oath to gain a immigration benefit and will risk losing your GC or even citizenship.
If I were you I will fill up the DS-230 honestly and at the interview somehow ask the CO to be interviewed alone and explain the situation to him/her, at least this way IF you get a decent CO (Even though he/she will not think very highly of you) will probably understand but remember I said probably. But this way he/she for sure can't deny a IV to you because 1/ You will not be lying under oath.
2/ You will be able to sponsor your other children in the future.

Namecheckvictim gave you a very brilliant idea. This will work if you get a good CO.
The other thing is... Is your wife likely to read or look over the application forms in the near future? Or after the interview?
If she somehow finds out on her own, you will be screwed. (understatement).
Do you have any contact with your illigit children at present??
There is no easy answers on this one...having said that, I wish you the best.

Most definitely there will be a problem. Your petition for them will be denied, and you probably will be deported.

However, if you are keeping these children secret from your wife, how are you supporting them without her knowing? If you want to petition for them or apply for citizenship, you'll need to provide evidence of support.

I will venture to say that your marriage is likely going to fail within the first year, because you are already lying to the poor woman about the fact you have actually have children, but you don't want to disclose this information. How truthful are you being with your spouse? I see huge problems engulfing your marriage and leading your wife (once she finds out you are lied to her), to tear you up. It appears as if you taking this woman for a ride, in order to obtain a green card for you and your kids.

Unfortunately, your ploy won't succeed, because you have to provide proof of financial sponsorship, which will require a certain amount based on the number of beneficiaries being sponsored. You will need to explain your wife, why she is sponsoring 3 people (number of your children), as opposed to 1 (you). Did you ever contemplate this issue? Let us assume you scam your way to interview alone, do intend to live in a mailbox to ensure that your wife never finds out about your other petitions for your children? If you chose to NOT disclose these kids, forget about sponsoring them in the future. You need to be honest with your wife, unless you intend to end up in divorce court and deported back to your home country. I don't value lying people, they are dangerous to the environment, especially to marriage.
 
Ever heard "Honesty is the BEST Policy". I would suggest let your wife know about your past. What would you do if you find out that wife had illegitimate kids? Would you rather have her hide it from your or be honest with you?
 
We've been married for 5 years. My wife is not the petitioner,.My stepson (his biological child) is thr one who filed the petition for me and my wife
 
The bottom line is your wife will find out soon or later that you have illgit children out there.
Its much better for her to hear it from you than to find out on her own!
If she somehow finds out on her own, things will get pretty ugly. Maybe its time for the old family secret to come out of the closet!
