IGTE folks, PLease post if you have received Notice for Proactive I-140

Fellow waiters,

There have been now 5 batches of Proactive I-140 applications filed by IGTE. It would be interesting to see how many from each batch have received their I-140 notices. Please mention Batch Number ( 1 starting on April 13 and increments for subsequent weeks ), approx. I140 filing date and date when notice was received, date when called INS to link I-140 with I-485..

My details are:

Batch# 3, filed Apr-26, waiting for notice copy from LD.

Batch 2, I140 filed on 4/17/01. Still waiting...

A friend of mine who was in the first batch received his notice about 2 weeks ago. His I140 was filed in the 1st week of April.

Batch 1 (4/12/2001). I am told that INS has issued the Receipt notice on 5/11/2001. Yet to see it though.

Batch #1, filed 04/13/01, receipt received, still waiting for approval. Not been able to get through to VSC since then.

Batch 1 copy of Notice rcd from LD

Before the receipt of Notice called IIO to link my
140 with 485 they can find our filed 140 with the help
of A#.

So guys call IIO to link your 140 even though you havnt
recd the notice.

as I know, my I-140 was sent (I am not talking about when my number was posted on web site) on April 17, 2001 - all people (99%) who were sent (I am not talking about when their numbers were posted on web site) before - got receipts ... I guess ESC will be sending info with some delay as usual...

The 5th batch was posted on May 11. Go to internet options and choose to delete cached files. Then refresh the immigration web page. you will then be able to see it.

Thanks for posting guys. Looks like we have only a good number of the First batch receive their receipts. However, no one seems to have called IIO to link up the I-140??? I guess we may have to give upto 4 weeks for us to receive the receipt notice after date of filing.

Also, There is a post by "Samera" that an IIO told him that they have been given new instructions to ignore amended I-140s. This strange instruction gives me hope that VSC may have received the much awaited memo that would give VSC instructions to apply the provisions of AC21 favorable to the beneficiaries ( I-485 applicants). Let us hope for the best, but don\'t jump to any conclusions yet.

Hi VSCRD1199, Sorry to bother you. I deleted the cookies and stuff did a refresh but still I am not able to see the list posted on 11th. I could only see the ones posted on 5thMay,27thApril, 19thApril and 13th April. I don\'t see any postings between 5th and 14th May.

Can you please post the list in here?

Don\'t believe these IIOs. They are a bunch of rogues/morons who don\'t give a s**t about what they are saying. One IIO told me that filing amended I-140s do not make difference and 485s would continue to be on hold. Two days later, another IIO told that "Hold" is there only until the I-140 amended petition is approved. Now whom to believe? I wish there was a way to take this Scoundrel Organization to Court. But guys this is a lawless country. Realize that now. Only might is right. A foreign worker is the most unwanted creature. Attorneys are out there to make money and hence they would not make anything easier for us. Companies are there to exploit the people and hence the current situation is helping them. INS is a racist, bigoted organization, so they will put all kinds of obstacles in the process. So, in conclusion, I feel that we have no way out.

First batch: I-140 amendment notice date April 11, 2001. Called to link it, when I saw on this board that people are calling to link the amendment to the I-485. To my surprise the IIO said \'the application is already likned since we have your amendment information when you gave us the A#\' So my guess is if your A# is mentioned on the amendment I-140 receipt then chances are VSC will automatically. But it doesn\'t hurt to check it with VSC, especially with VSC does it?

By the way, I was in the first batch. My RD is 12th Apr and ND is 24th Apr.
